Alleged Sony Xperia E2 to come with LTE onboard, scores close to 18 000 on AnTuTu

It's the season for Sony Xperia leaks on AnTuTu, its seems, as just after three Z1 versions appeared in the benchmark database, now an alleged Sony Xperia E2 seems to be making the rounds.

Before you scoff at such a low-ender, take a look at the actual result of 17,853 points for the codename D2303, indicating at least a lower-midrange Snapdragon processor is inside, or some powerful MediaTek silicon. That is certainly quite good by any measure, and since the handset seems to also be an LTE-equipped model, ending with the number "3", it has all prerequisites to be a hit already, especially if it sells at the rock bottom price of the original E. 

We still don't know what Sony's naming scheme will be for 2014, but the flood of new handsets awaiting us next year might start as soon as CES in a few weeks, where we are likely to learn more.
