Release date

Initial reports claimed the new Nexus 10 would debut in the middle of October.
That time frame has come and gone, but other reports have pointed toward the end of the month. With the last days of October now upon us, the latest word has suggested the Nexus 10 will release alongside the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat.
According to notable leakster @evleaks, Google apparently has an event planned for 1 November. That's when we'll likely see the launch of the Nexus 10, Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat.

Display

The new Nexus 10 will have a 10.1-inch display. Specifically, it's tipped to boast a full HD display.
An eagled-eyed gadget fan reportedly managed to screenshot leaked specs for the Nexus 10 on Google Play, and, according to those images, we can expect a 10.055-inch diagonal display. It'll have a 2560-by-1600 pixel resolution at 300ppi. There's also Gorilla Glass 3 on top, as noted by PhoneArena.

Specs

The new Nexus 10 will purportedly carry Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip - much like the new Nexus 7.
Rumours have also claimed the slate will pack 2GB of RAM, though a more recent report - again taken from the leaked specs on Google Play - said 3GB will probably be on board.
As for cameras, you're looking at 8MP on the rear and 2.1MP on the front. There's also support for video calls. Battery life is supposedly improved as well, thanks to a 9500mAh pack, according to PhoneArena.
The last bits circulating around the blogosphere have claimed the new Nexus 10 will sport 32GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there might not be a microSD slot.

Android OS

The new Nexus 10 might unveil alongside Android 4.4 KitKat, meaning it will likely ship with KitKat installed, though Google hasn't confirmed any of this speculation.
That said, the purported leaks from Google Play seemingly confirm the tablet will indeed feature the latest and greatest mobile OS from Google.

Design

The tablet's design will likely echo the Nexus 7, especially if any of the leaked images are to be believed. That means you should expect a black, curved plastic body. No metal - but rugged nonetheless.
As for the overall weight, it's supposedly 584g heavy. The new Nexus 10 will also allegedly have a 7.9mm-thin form factor. If true, it could be one of the more exciting tablets of the year, even compared to Apple's iPad Air.

Price

The 16GB Nexus 10 (2012) costs £319. Rumours have suggested there won't be a 16GB version of the new Nexus 10. Thus the 32GB version could land in the £319 price bracket - or it might come with a higher price tag.
Leaks from a PC World inventory screen put the new tablet's price at £349. But we don't know whether that was for the Wi-Fi-only edition, what storage size or even whether or not it was a fabrication.
