'Nokia Camera' app introduced in Nokia Lumia 1520: Multiple shooting modes, maps integration, Storyteller and more

article-title

Nokia has introduced the "Nokia Camera" app for Windows Phone 8, as introduced by the latest Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet.
The new Camera app combines the existing Smart, Pro and Video modes as found in the Lumia 1020, all of which are easily accessible at a tap from the main camera screen. There are now also multiple shooting modes available at a touch: standard, night and sports modes are optimised for specific scenes.
Whether you're into point-and-shoot auto, want to specify the specific mode, or go into manual control to adjust the autofocus area with a tap of the screen or via a manual focus slider. The Pro camera user interface makes light work of it al.
The Lumia 1520's new 20-megapixel PureView camera sensor offers large image files. And just like the existing Pro camera you can zoom in while shooting and then choose to zoom back out to the full resolution file and re-frame after you've taken the photo. Very cool.
Both the Nokia HERE and PureView teams have joined up to create the new Nokia Storyteller feature - it automatically makes a story based on the photos that you've taken, including animated photos from Cinemagram and the like - with map integration to not only display where shots were taken, but associated information based on that location. This isn't limited to just the 1520 either, as Storyteller will appear on other devices, including the just-announced Lumia 2520 tablet.
It's onwards and upwards for Lumia cameras and Nokia Camera looks to be the best iteration of capture yet.
