Announced during last February's MWC and originally expected to launch in April,
the Samsung HomeSync is now available. The media box offers 1TB of
cloud based storage that up to 8 users will have access to. Connecting
to your TV via the HDMI port, HomeSync allows you to download certain
apps from Google Play Store, view YouTube videos, surf the web and more.
And the box is powered by Android 4.2. In case you were wondering, a
dual-core 1.7GHz Cortex A-15 CPU lives inside the box
The Samsung
HomeSync is priced at $299.99 and you can send content through the box
and to your large screen TV screen using certain Samsung Galaxy devices.
While it would make sense to have a device that connects to your
television play streaming video, certain sites like Netflix and Hulu are
off-limits. The Samsung HomeSync is available right now from Amazon or
your local Best Buy store.
